Airing on Arena on Foxtel at 8.30pm Sunday nights, the Real Housewives of Sydney have been causing quite a stir and none moreso than in episode four of the new series which saw the TV personalities head to the Whitsundays for diving, fishing and of course – drinking. In what has become a common theme of the reality TV format, the women headed to Airlie Beach for what was to be a relaxing break but saw confrontation come to the fore.
Sydney housewife Victoria thought the group of girlfriends might enjoy a tropical northern getaway to escape the pressures of stay-at-home life. Fellow Housewives star Lisa Oldfield was in straight away, revealing that the Whitsundays were a favourite destination in their family, having previously visited South Molle Island, Hayman Island, Hamilton Island and more.
However it was during dinner at the Coral Sea Resort where confrontation began and never really stopped. By the next day, even a lovely trip on a yacht wasn’t enough to ease the tensions that bubbled beneath the surface of the group of friends. The situation only escalated when some of the ladies were forced to share a bed. Things didn’t go any smoother for Lisa when her girlfriends confronted her about the state of her marriage which she had previously confided was struggling.
Despite some of the nagging on the trip, the girls appeared to thoroughly enjoy being in such a beautiful part of the world, with many of them commenting how perfect the weather was. In fact, Lisa wished they could have stayed longer to enjoy more activities, however she was still pleased they managed to enjoy all of the important things – like drinking. Still, it won’t be long until she returns, with the housewife planning a return trip in September.
The Real Housewives of Sydney airs on Sunday night at 8.30pm only on Foxtel’s Arena.
